Midsummer Night Celebration
In ancient time, the Summer Solstice was an important part of almost every civilization. It is a celebration of our
world and the power and wonder of nature. Not only marking the beginning of Summer, the Summer Solstice
was considered a time for purification and a renewal of self – a time to release the sadness, fears and pains
from our lives. Mother Earth was commemorated as “The Goddess”, while “The God” was represented as the
Sun King. The Druids celebrated it as the marriage of Heaven and Earth.
June 20th (Saturday Night) is Midsummer’s Night - a magical night – auspicious for letting your innermost heart
desire express itself. Invoke the goddess and dance the night away with all the woodland fairies. Dress in your
fairy or goddess splendor, wear flowers in your hair and bring bells...lots of bells!
Midsummer’s Night Festivities will be filled with color - yellow for the harvest, green representing nature and
blue for the sky. Many of the ancient rituals will be honored including:
· Staying up all night to welcome the rising sun at dawn.
· Keeping a sacred fire burning all night. (The fire will be tended to by a ‘Keeper of the Fire’)
· Dancing around the sacred fire to the beat of drums, bells and rattles
· Burning a Yule wreath in the sacred fire.
· Making a promise to Mother Nature to do something to improve the environment.
· Exchanging magical gifts with fellow Pagans.
· Exchanging songs, stories and psychic messages with others
· Readings of the Tarot Cards and Runes.
· Coming together in a healing circle.
Peppermint Tea is recommended to increase your psychic ability (drink some before reading the Tarot,
consulting runes, scrying, dowsing, etc.). Drinking Peppermint tea is also useful for healing and producing
visions.
Another suggestion is the making of a Prayer Stick upon which you place specific prayers for those who need
healing, for the return to peace where there is no peace and for abundance in areas of the world where there is
now poverty and scarcity.
Bring a cushion and/or blanket to sit on, something to drink and eat, a jacket and energetic objects you want
near you ie. Crystals, pictures, etc

Part One: Exploring downtown historical Burlington, examining the underground tunnels, the ancient burial
mounds, the effigy mounds,
and the masonic layout of the town along with the occult symbols hidden within the town's architecture. Mary
Sutherland will be your
guide and will share the mysteries of Burlington.
Part Two: Exploring the historical Mormon community of Voree and expediting the ancient site where the
sacred brass plates of Voree
were discovered by Mormon Prophet James Strang. Sutherland has chosen Peter Moon to host this expedition
due to his knowledge of
the Mound and Pyramid builders of Montauk who later came to make their home in WIsconsin and his incredible
knowledge of Mormon history and their connection to the ancient Mound Builders of Wisconsin. Continuing on
we will investigate an ancient battlefield located
on and around Burlington's oldest cemetery which was built on an ancient earthen mound and sacrifical site.
This area has effigy mounds and an interdimensional doorway where one can experience time jumping.
Part Three: 7 p.m. - Haunted Woods Tour hosted by Brad and Mary Sutherland. For an additional $25.00 join us
on our popular Haunted Woods tour where you will experience via the 'Burlington Vortex' interdimensional
portal jumping, phaseshifting, the hidden world of
fairies, shamanic connection to the spirit world, interdimensional entities and the paranormal at its wildest. And
don't forget to keep your eyes to the sky for UFO activity...Burlington is becoming quite well known for UFO
Sightings!
At 10 p.m. we wrap the tour up and take you back to the Cafe where we take you on a virtual tour in our theater
room where you are able to watch your tour on a large screen. Photos are downloaded immediately from

other more qualified to
reveal these truths than Frank Joseph, due to his work on Atlantis in Wisconsin and his expedition of the
underwater pyramids of Lake
