| Hello Troll Lovers...Thank you for stopping in and visiting with our troll friends. Not only do they appreciate your visit with them they are also excited about the possibility of going home with you. Although all these trolls are retired now, as you will soon see we have hundreds of them in our collection...and one in. Following is a little information on the history of our trolls: Troll dolls became one of America's biggest toy fads beginning in the autumn of 1963, lasting throughout 1965. With their brightly colored hair and cute faces, they were featured in both Life Magazine and Time magazine in articles which commented on the "good luck" they would bring to their owners. Trolls became fads again in brief periods throughout the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. In 2003, the Toy Industry Association named Troll dolls to its Century of Toys List, a roll call commemorating the 100 most memorable and most creative toys of the 20th century.
